Hello I am from Australia and i am travailing the route 66 in april 2018 with my wife child and her parents in an R/V i am quite open to travailing for 20 days and after doing some investigating i have made a rough itinerary but it only goes for 12 days which makes me feel a i am going through towns to quick and perhaps will miss alot or my google maps timing system is off by alot either way i would like to make couple of detours along the way to ensure we see as much as we can and one of this places is vegas i would like to stay in a hotel for about 3 nights so trying to get the itinerary as close to perfect will be important i have suggested to allow one day extra in Vegas so if we do arrive early we can still stay in the rv but if we run short we have the extra day up our sleeves. please feel free to go over my itinerary and make any suggestion you can especially around the stop overs for sleeping, we have never done this before and i am not sure if i have selected the best places to spend the night in, if you feel i need to spend more nights in certain places please also advise

thank you all in advance for your assistance. and remember i have about 20 days so still some days up my sleeve to move things around.
Your post is pretty exhaustive and, if I'm honest, I gave up reading in detail due to the bad grammar and lack of punctuation.
It appears you have everything regimented and nailed down to the nearest minute. Many members may not be able to help as a large number have a more free spirited approach to driving Route 66.
But I wish you well on your trip. Just remember that it's impossible to see eveyrything and don't burn yourself out by trying to see too much. In many ways, it is about the Road, not what's at the side of it.
That's quite a trip!
I'd be tempted to lighten up on the timings a little though as it's quite constraining and won't allow you to go with the flow much.
If it helps, I drove Route 66 in 14 days, including stops at Vegas and Grand Canyon, and had a fantastic time and saw and experienced an awful lot. I wax driving approximately 200 miles a day, heading off between 8 and 9am and arriving at my evening stop around 5-6pm.
I would be inclined to make a note of what sights are available on any given day but without committing to definitely having to see all of it. It's good to know what's coming up but with a bit more flexibility. Sometimes my wife and I would look at options over our evening meal and make decisions as to what we'd like to do the next day, and on other times we would just drive and pull over when we saw something that interested us.
In the "plan your trip" section of the site there are many recommendations that can be filtered by type AND ordered by direction of travel - this might help you make some decisions.
