Hi just stumbled across this site while searching for info on Google.

Myself and my partner have wanted to do route 66 for a long time he is turning 40 next year and thought it would be a great way to celebrate his birthday. I'm looking for any info and recommendations as possible?.

We live in Glasgow Scotland, our plan was to get a one way flights from Glasgow to Chicago and then from there if possible hire a Harley Davidson and do roughly 2 days on that and then hire a car for the rest, the option of booking a package holiday doesn't really suit our plans as we don't want to stop off at every state and also would prefer to spend more time in other states. Once we get to Vegas we are then hoping to get a flight to New York and finish off our holiday there with a flight back to Glasgow. Again any insight into our idea would be greatly appreciated ❤
