Can anyone tell me if there is any accommodation in Oatman AZ? The answer looks like a no, but I'd though Id ask.

I'm finalising the last few nights of my 66 plan, and I'm due to stay in Kingman that night. Now i'm sure there's little in Oatman to pass the night away, but there wasn't all that much in Kingman last time I was there, so I may as well try something different, albeit a tiny ghost-town!

The answer is pretty involved--and it was posted a short time ago over on the Facebook page.

How long ago Frank? I'll see if I can track it down and post it here.

Alex - Frank is having difficulty accessing the site and so was unable to post a response. However, he's just posted this on the FB page - hope it helps:

"Oatman no longer has any lodging. The old Oatman Hotel lives on only as a bar/restaurant etc. (This information is via e-mail from the Chamber of Commerce at https://www.oatmangoldroad.org.)
The nearest lodging along 66 would be either in Kingman AZ or Needles CA. Both have an assortment of motels. There is also lodging a little closer (17 miles according to the C of C) at casinos in Bullhead City AZ, but this is not on 66.
One caution: heading out of Oatman in any direction, you want to go entirely in daylight. This is a twisting, narrow mountain road. The websitehttps://www.shootingonlocation.com has sunrise/sunset times.
And fill up with gas in Kingman if you're heading west...gas in Needles CA is currently a whopping $1.50 a gallon MORE according to https://www.gasbuddy.com."

Cheers Frank - I can't account for the problems you're having as I don't know of anyone else experiencing this. I'll do some investigating.
