Hi fellow 66 enthusiasts

I'm new to the site. I plan on taking 66 from
East to West as part of relocating my son from
IU back home to LA. Wondering where to stay in
Chicago the night before our adventure begins.
Any recommendations? Also I've got 7 days to do
this in and was a little taken aback by the 2 weeks
generally recommended. I hope it's still doable
and more importantly enjoyable in such a time
frame. I've driven from NYC to LA on the interstates
in 4 days in the past (twice) but obviously want to
slow down and enjoy the sites some.
