Hi all
I am just sorting out my trip from United Kingdom over to the US ready to do the East to West Route 66.
I would be grateful for any advice about anything to do with the trip as I am planning on leaving UK on 18th July 2016.

Andy, Im planning to do East to west starting August 5th.
I plan to do 18 days and do about 200 miles a day. I am driving my restored 1960 Cadillac convertible for the trip.
The question I have is what clothes and things should I pack for an 18 day journey. I know that the weather will change dramitically from the north to the south. Any tips from people who have done the trip this time of year would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Your lack of replies might be something to do with the fact that your question was fairly broad! Most of us who have travelled Route 66 would need 1000+ words to answer your post. Your best bet will be to search through previous posts which will certainly help, along with the "Plan Your Trip" tab at the top.
