My name is Dennis and I live in northeast Oklahoma. I have been exploring the Oklahoma portion of Route 66 so if you have any questions about that part of the Mother Road, I will try to answer them. When I was in high school in 1965 my family moved to Arizona and then to Grants, New Mexico. We travelled Route 66 when it was still 66 and I-40 was still being worked on.

My wife and I will be driving to California this June to see our son and daugher-in-law in the Bay Area. We are going to follow most of Route 66 beginning in Clinton, Oklahoma to the Santa Monica Pier. Last year the covered the Oklahoma portion from the Kansas state line to Clinton.
