Hi everyone,

Newbie here - we've decided to do Route66 for our honeymoon later this year so at the very beginning of planning our trip.

I'm a committed petrolhead who has toured extensively in Europe in my classic TVR so really excited about this trip of a lifetime. Luckily I've convinced the other half what a great and memorable holiday this trip will be.

Looking at doing Chicago to San Francisco. Looked at packages and starting to look at doing our own logistics - price will be the driver.

I've started looking at flights and want to rent a Dodge Charger to do it in style (struggling to find a rental firm at the mo, so any tips in that would be good).

I'll be asking loads of question over next few weeks and will also update how we get on.
